Mozambique has a broad assortment of accommodation to suit every one. Hotels – ranging from 5 star to no star - , beachside resorts, villas and self catering facilities – many of these are situated along Mozambique’s beautiful coastline, taking in full advantage of the warm, blue waters of the Indian Ocean, and its golden sands. Although most of these are situated in easily accessible places, some of accommodation facilities require a 4x4 to get there, and it is always worth checking with the premises before hand.

Although many believe that Mozambique is a bit behind in the tourism industry and that they are in for a cheap getaway – this is not always the case. Accommodation providers have quickly raised prices to match up to SA standards since so many South Africans are now flocking to the country. You can still find cheap places, but maybe not as easily as you would think.

Many of the hotels and lodges also have there own bars and restaurants, serving all the usual drinks, and lots of delicious seafood; self catering accommodation is also avalaible in Mozambique.
