Ponta Do Ouro - "Place of Gold" is situated close to the border of South Africa’s KwaZulu Natal province. Before you go – you need to be aware that you need a 4x4 vehicle to make it on the road from the border to Ponta Do Ouro; there is a pick up service that you can make use of if required.
Ponta do Ouro has two main holiday resorts, as well as many private homes restored to their original condition which serve as guest houses. There are also restaurants, bars, shops, a market, a petrol station and a bank in Ponta do Ouro.
